Welcome to UtuRise Foundation!
Kakamega County Kenya
A youth-led Kenyan foundation supporting orphaned and vulnerable children with food, school support, and something rarer — people who keep showing up.
UtuRise Foundation walks alongside orphaned and vulnerable children across Kenya — from the children's home, through school, into a life they build for themselves.

noun — our shared humanity. The conviction that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and the chance to rise.
Real change isn't a one-time donation — it's showing up, again and again, for the same child until they can stand on their own.
UtuRise Foundation is a youth-led Kenyan initiative supporting orphaned and vulnerable children in children's homes. We bring food, school supplies and consistent presence — but our heart is the long walk: staying with a child through their whole journey. That conviction is what makes us different.
Across Kenya, generous people bring food, clothes and donations to children's homes. But the support rarely continues through a child's full development — and that's where futures are quietly lost.
Help arrives in moments — a meal, a donation — then ends. The deeper needs of growing up go unmet.
Few children have someone who stays with them into adulthood. Without a consistent mentor, opportunity narrows.
Gaps in education, employment readiness and independent living follow children long after they leave care.
We choose a small number of children and commit to their whole journey — not a single school term, but every stage until they are independent.
We're starting where we can be faithful and consistent: sponsoring and mentoring a small group of children through their education, while supporting children's homes across Nakuru, Kakamega and Nairobi.
As resources grow, and as God guides, our long-term dream is a UtuRise children's home where vulnerable children are raised in dignity, love and stability. We're building toward it step by faithful step.
We stay with a child through primary and secondary school, into vocational training or university, and on toward their first job — building independence, not dependence.
We partner with children's homes across Nakuru, Kakamega and Nairobi — providing food, clothing, school supplies, and consistent presence.
Through visits and collaborations such as Grace Calvary Ministries — including community work in Samburu — we show up consistently and build real relationships.
We'd rather tell you the honest truth of an emerging movement than impressive numbers we can't stand behind.
Recently delivered: 25 kg of rice · sanitary supplies for 10 girls · school fees for a child · milk, clothing & stationery to children's homes.
Thank you for the milk you provide — the children enjoyed their tea with milk today. Thank you for the milk and the other things, and thank you all for making my kids happy. They normally drink porridge; today they drank their tea. Be blessed.

WHAT WE DO
At UtuRise Foundation, our mission is centered on supporting orphaned children and giving them hope for a brighter future.

My journey began with a simple visit to a children's home. Serving and spending time with the children there, my heart bonded with them around one shared calling. What started as visits soon became a vision.
Over the past four years, I've continued supporting children in homes across Kenya — offering time, resources, and presence in whatever way I could. Through these experiences the dream grew clearer: one day, to establish a home where vulnerable children are raised in dignity, love, and stability.
UtuRise Foundation was created as the foundation for that vision. Today we focus on supporting orphaned and vulnerable children in children's homes across Kenya.
I believe that through service, learning, and faithful commitment, UtuRise will grow into a place where children not only find shelter, but truly find home.
